What is Endpointing?
Detecting the end of a caller's utterance.
Endpointing decides the moment a caller's turn has ended so processing can begin. Tuned too aggressively it cuts people off mid-sentence; too conservatively it adds a pause to every exchange. It is the single setting with the most effect on how natural a call feels.
