What is STIR/SHAKEN?
The framework that cryptographically attests caller ID.
STIR/SHAKEN is a set of standards that lets an originating carrier sign a call to attest that the caller is entitled to use the number, and lets terminating carriers verify that signature. It is the industry's structural answer to caller ID spoofing.
